Alicia has raised her funds she needed to come back to Amsterdam! We want to thank our supporters who have stepped up to the plate to help us get her back. She was to have been here a week ago, but because of the volcano, it didn't happen quite the way we had planned.
Alicia is the daughter of fellow missionaries to the Netherlands. Having grown up in Africa, she's been involved in missions for the majority of her life so it's no surprise that her heart's passion would lean towards missions and towards the FireChoir.
Alicia is a gifted singer which is one of the many reasons she has endeared herself to the FireChoir and has become instrumental in the function and leadership of the ministry.
This will be her third time to work with us as she served here previously for two 3-month assignments. Alicia is a very outgoing and friendly person. She brings a young, energetic and positive perspective and has a knack for bringing the best out of everyone. We've all missed her this past year! We are especially anxious for her to return so we can train her and prepare her to be our representative while we are in the states for the next year (starting in July).
